SyTech, Inc., located in Franklin, MA, is a privately owned company and
the leading provider of automated reporting and data analysis for
production and management. Our products are used in industry and
interface to the leading HMI/SCADA systems, data historians and
relational databases.
We are seeking a technical support specialist. The successful applicant
will be involved in the implementation of reporting software used in
industry, both at the plant floor level and in the enterprise.
The individual will be required to:
* Provide comprehensive technical support directly to customers
* Deliver product training to technical audiences in person and over the
internet
* Participate in training course material design and software
development
* Assist in trade shows
Familiarity with HMI/SCADA software used in manufacturing e.g., iFIX,
DeltaV or InTouch is desirable. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
is required.
The position is well suited to an individual that has:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
* Programming experience in Visual Basic and .net
* 1 to 2 years of experience in technical support
* The willingness to roll up his/her sleeves in a small company
